Part 5 of the CrossFit competition features key moments from the Chipper event, which provided a breakout moment for several athletes on the weekend, including Björgvin Karl Guðmundsson on the men's side and Kari Pearce on the women's side. Pearce, who had announced that this would be her final competition as an individual athlete, would best Tia Toomey's time in the Chipper, but it was Toomey's second place effort that got her back into her familiar position atop the overall leaderboard.
